November 2003 was a month of beginnings for us. That month, we both delivered our first babies. For some time before, we had been talking daily online as a special group of friends. In the years that have followed the babies’ births, friendships have grown stronger and conversations have led to another birth – the birth of SweetKnits! This new adventure brings hand-knit goodies for your special little ones (and yourself)!
Meridith is a work-at-home-mom in Massachusetts, busy with her three small children. She was introduced to wool soakers as diaper covers in the summer of 2005, and decided to learn to knit her own. Before long, Meridith realized her children would never need all the things she was making and decided to share her love of knitting with others. She loves supporting other work-at-home-moms when choosing her yarns, and enjoys a variety of wools and color combinations.

Kristin is a work-at-home-mom living in Quebec, Canada. She is mom to three girls, and became a fan of cloth diapering while pregnant with her eldest. After trying many types of diaper covers, she fell in love with wool, and decided to turn her joy of knitting into a small business venture. Kristin uses many types of wool in her products, and often tries to support Canadian sheep farms and yarn dyers by purchasing and using their wool for her items.
