| Each Handspun by SweetKnits skein is spun by Meridith on her Louet Julia spinning wheel. You will find a variety of fibers, both handpainted and natural. Our offerings will include merino, merino blends, BFL, targhee, superwash wools, and often some less common breeds such as Jacob, Icelandic, Cormo, Shetland, and many more! Each handspun skein is unique and cannot be replicated. Slight variation in thickness throughout the skein is characteristic of handspun yarn and is not considered a defect. We do our best to accurately describe and photograph our yarn. Please remember that colors may appear different monitor to monitor. Custom spinning is available on a limited basis. Please email handspun@sweetknits.com for a custom spinning quote. Please stop by often! Handspun skeins are truly one-of-a-kind. You never know when that "must have" skein may appear! |
